Mpress: Lady Ava thank you for giving as your time today, for this interview, its really nice having you with as today.
ava: Thank you
Mpress: if I’m wrong please correct me, it’s been a long time since your last interview, if I am right, we last heard of you almost a year ago, where was you?
Ava: no you are correct, my last interview was a year ago, but I was on the media, I mean my news was on the media the time after, but I did not do any interviews. I was a little mixed up with my decisions, and the fact that my country came in to an economy crisis, it did strike my soul so, I was a part lost and a part working in silence.
Mpress: you said decisions, does that mean you got news for as?
Ava: yes its no longer a secret, never was really, but it took me some time to make up my mind of what was best for me as a person and what was best for me as an artist. So anyhow, to make the story short, im back in the studio making new songs, im soon releasing my album THE EDGE, that will include all my songs so far and new songs and remixed songs, its going to be big and its coming out by Golden Records mpil.
Mpress: so if i understand completely, you are with a new label
Ava: yes I am with Golden Records mpil. I no longer use my own social profiles, anything that has my name on it, its official only if you see the goldenrecords.mpil logo or name on it. Now I only have to focus on doing my music, I no longer have to rush myself, I have golden.
Mpress: it’s a congratulations coming from as on this ava, well done. Now my next question is, Eurovision 2014. You did mention last year that you will do it all over again, as many times as possible to make it happen. What’s on this year?
Ava: (laughs) I can’t speak about it in public im bond in secrecy, so is my label. All I can say, its yes im on it this year too, but I can’t talk about it. If I make it through it will be revealed, if not then next year maybe, I don’t know (laughs).
Mpress: ok I got it countries rules, well it’s a good luck ava, we hope to see you on esc stage though!
Ava: thanks I hope, will see
Mpress: we did miss having new photos of you. As I can see you have change, your hair is extremely long and black, but you look younger every time I come across you, what is your secret?
Ava: (laughs) secret? I have no secret what so ever, I do nothing! Maybe that’s the secret not doing anything. Its true, I don’t cut my hair, I don’t go to beauticians, I eat whatever, I am not an example to follow on this situation cause I really do nothing! But In my family not knowing the reason why, everyone looks younger that their age, and are handsome, so I don’t know its probably the DNA, in the family, though I do not consider myself a model (laughs)
Mpress: question, are we going to have new photos of you shortly?
Ava: yes you will
Mpress: remember the one question one answer game all journalists like to play especially with you?
Ava: (laughs) are we going to play that now?
Mpress: yes we are, remember, don’t think just answer automatically ok?
Ava: ok, your on babe, strike me! (laughs)

THE DAY AFTER -EUROVISION 2013- LADY AVA INTERVIEW by Euro press
Lady Ava was one of the candidates in representing Russia for this years eurovision song contest 2013 in Malmo. Finally the Russian Channel chosen the singer and the song it self and the candidates remain candidates.
Who is Lady Ava ? What she is up to now? Its what we are about to know today, in our interview with her!
euSong: Lady Ava, first of all we would like to know you better, give as the basics, are you a professional singer? Just a singer? your clearly Cypriot? who are you?
Lady Ava: (laughs) ok, let me just say thank you for this interview and let me introduce my self. My artistic name is Lady Ava, yes i am a professional singer, i already have 3 digital albums release by tunecore, i also produce songs my self and most of the times i do the lyrics too. This is what i do, i do nothing else. Yes im a Greek Cypriot but im British too. I love the idea of the eurovision song contest and this was not the first time that i was interested, it just was the first time trying for Russia and it was a hurt but fun ride.
euSong: Did you expect to represent Russia?
Lady Ava: Not in a million years (laughs) but i hoped and i tried. And i had a lot of support and i thank each and every one who supported me and the song YOU TAKE ME HIGHER.
euSong: How to you feel now?, no eurovision for Lady Ava this year
Lady Ava: Im fine, there is always next year, and next year and the year after! There are a lot of countries that give this chance to artists, so next time with another country or even Cyprus!
euSong: Do you like the song that will finally represent Russia?
Lady Ava: Yes i do! And the song and the singer! I wish her the best, shes young and talented.
euSong: There where a lot of articles from Russians reporters referring to your name, was there something you read that was disturbing for you?
Lady Ava: No, it was good that in every article they kept on referring my name, it was an honor! I was noticed and not passed by and i was glad about it and all comments where good and i thank them all.
euSong: What is Eurovision Song Contest for you?
Lady Ava : its my childhood dream! every child has a dream, me, i always wanna go on eurovision stage! (laughs)
euSong: You are a very fun person…
Lady Ava: Yes i am, no matter what i always come back on tracks and i am joy foul, i am a positive thinker, we should all be.
euSong: So what are you up to this days? what we should expect from you?
Lady Ava: Hopefully my next single and more hopefully the next album. I say hopefully because i live in Cyprus and as the hole world knows we are unfortunately on an economic crisis, so hopefully i will be able to give you a next hit in a few months! Am in the studio making the new songs and i shall finish them and i hope by then ill be able to distribute them. That and a couple of photo shouts that are planed.
euSong: You are very connected to people by social media, you have your own domain as well…
Lady Ava: Yes im in to social media a lot, like face book which i use a lot as HOUSE OF AVA MUSIC, or my official pages as “Lady AVA (Official)”, and YouTube as LADY AVA and yes, i have my own web site my domain, https://www.ladyava.net/ and i also have twitter.
